life groups

A life group is a community of people who:

• Meet together regularly
• Help one another apply God's truth to daily living
• Bear one another's burdens (Gal 6:2)
• Encourage one another (Heb 10:25)
• Love one another (John 13:34)
• Serve one another (Gal 5:13)

Life groups meet in homes, at the church, at coffee shops or restaurants, at different times of the day and different days of the week.  Generally, groups are 6 to 14 people as individuals or couples who meet for 1 to 2 hours.  Although groups vary, there will be a time of fellowship and prayer, along with a discussion about a book of the Bible or an inspirational book all are reading.  It is a safe environment to ask questions or talk about life's struggles.  A life group is a place to belong, and a place to become a mature follower of Christ.
